MUSICAL THEATRE MINOR

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the minor requirements students will be able to:
  • Effectively practice the art of Musical Theatre through involvement in the creation and presentation of public performances in a variety of Musical Theatre styles and mediums.
  • Act honestly and apply vocal and physical techniques to the creation of performance.
  • Sing with a free and authentic voice.
  • Dance proficiently in a variety of musical theatre styles.

* Students must audition for, and perform as cast, in at least two musicals to fulfill the minor.
**Students must enroll in and pass THE400 each Spring to be continued in the minor.
