Crew, Tech, and Office Position Interviews
Interested in joining our crew, tech, or office team for AMERICAN IDIOT? All current students can interview for non-actor positions in the production! Please note that we have a very limited number of paid hourly positions, but we will have many opportunities that are unpaid or for THE490 credit. These positions, both paid and unpaid, will be competitive, so read the below carefully!
PAID POSITIONS - May 5 - June 24:
5-8 hours/week at $9.50/hour (depending on position and availability)
• Scene Shop/Prop Shop/Lights and Sound
• Costume Shop
• Office/PR Team
UNPAID/CREDIT POSITIONS - May 5 - June 19:
• Stage Management (Stage Manager, 2-4 Assistant Stage Managers)
• Run Crew
• Costume/Hair and Make-up Crew
• Front of House (House Manager, Ushers)
• Assistant Music Director
• Assistant Director
• Assistant Choreographer
HOW TO BE CONSIDERED:
Please sign-up for a 15-minute interview next week on Tuesday/Wednesday (4/5 and 4/6) per the sign-up link below. If none of the times work for you, reach out to Professor Dobby.

HOW TO BE CONSIDERED:

By Sunday, 4/3 at 11:59pm, send Professor Dobby the following via email:
• A brief cover letter-type email in which you let me know why you're interested in, and a good fit for, the position(s) you're applying for note that most folks in Summer Rep work in multiple areas, so interest or experience in multiple areas is great!
• Your resume/experience in those areas.
• Any conflicts with daytime work hours May 5 - June 20 (Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm).
• If you'll need housing/THE490 credit (remember that you must pay for 1 credit of THE490 in order to receive housing).
All positions should be offered and filled by Friday, 4/8. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Professor Dobby at [email protected]!
